Message types
The availability of a message type depends on the Infobip solution over which you want to send the message.
Chatbots
Chatbot messages are used as the main form of messaging when receiving incoming communications through Telegram from customers.
Telegram bots are third-party applications which run inside Telegram which do not require a phone number for registration. They handle all messaging processing, including all encryption and communication with the Telegram API.
Messages, commands and requests sent by end users are passed first to Infobip`s software and then to Telegram Bots API in the form of HTTPS requests. Note however, while bots support Telegram cloud chats, they currently do not support secret chats.
Once bot hosts are set up, connected to Infobip, and configured in Answers, you can search for it in your Telegram app via the search bar and test it out. You can also use the command t.me/

Human chat
If for any reason your chatbot is not able to provide the resolution required by the customer, you can enable the option in the chat to chat to a human instead.
For the end user, this will not mean having to do anything, only that a member of staff from the company will be placed into the chat using Conversations.

Outbound messages
Text
Text messages can contain a maximum of 4,096 characters.
Image
The file size must be a maximum of 5 MB. Supported formats are .jpg and .png.
Audio
The file size must be a maximum of 10 MB. Supported formats are .m4a and .mp3.
Video
The file size must be a maximum of 10 MB. Supported format is .mp4.
File
The file size must be a maximum of 10 MB. Supported format is .pdf.
Inbound messages
End users can send you the following types of messages:

- Image
- Audio
- Video
- File
